Stakeholder and consumer engagement on development of a dietary guidance resource for Scotland, to support the population to achieve a healthier diet
5 documents for this subject
Summary
In 2018 and 2019 initial engagement with a wide range of stakeholders and consumers established that there was support for dietary guidance for Scotland (referred to as dietary guidelines at that time), to provide advice in addition to the foods and proportions recommended for a healthy, balanced diet as shown in the Eatwell Guide.
In 2020, further engagement was undertaken with both stakeholders and consumers to seek their views on draft content and online visuals for a dietary guidance resource for Scotland. The findings of this engagement provided the direction for the further development of a dietary guidance resource for Scotland.
