Summary
Food Standards Scotland (FSS) and the Food Standards Agency (FSA) have updated their guidance regarding undeclared peanut protein in batches of soyabean lecithin. Following Root Cause Analysis received from India, FSS and the FSA are advising food businesses which purchase soyabean lecithin originating from India should sample and test the product upon its arrival in the UK before it is further processed or sold on.
