Taylor’s of Biggar recalls various ice cream products due to undeclared allergens
Taylor’s of Biggar are recalling three flavours of ice cream because they contain allergens which are not mentioned on the label making the products a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg, an allergy to soya or a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites.

No other Taylor’s of Biggar products are known to be affected
Risk: Egg, Soya and Sulphur Dioxide
These products contain Egg, Soya and Sulphur Dioxide making them a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg, an allergy to soya or a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites.
Our advice to consumers:
If you have bought the above products and have an allergy or intolerance to egg, an allergy to soya or a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites do not eat them. Instead return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund.
Action taken by the company:
Taylors of Biggar are recalling the above products from customers and have been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued point-of-sale notices to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products.
