Deli Food (Scot) Ltd is recalling 6 sandwich types as the products have been incorrectly labelled with a ‘Use by Date’ of 23/07/17. The ‘Use by Date’ should be 23/06/17.
Product details:
Product: 6 sandwich types, including egg mayo, ham & cheese, ham & cheese savoury, chicken mayo, cheese & red onion and ham & egg
Pack size: Plastic pyramid packs
‘Use By’ date: 23/07/17
No other Deli Food (Scot) Ltd products are known to be affected
Risk: Consuming the product after its intended ‘Use by Date’ could pose a food risk.
Our advice to consumers:
If you have bought any of the above products do not eat it beyond its correct ‘Use by Date’ of 23/06/2017. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
Action taken by the company:
Deli Food (Scot) Ltd is recalling the above products. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
